Account Director, Commerce
About the role
We are a global digital agency comprised of strategists, creatives, media experts, data scientists, and engineers driven by one common purpose — accelerate business growth through marketing and digital transformation. The Account Director, Commerce manages key marketplace and retail media clients across Amazon, Walmart and other retail platforms. This role leads strategy, delivery and results while serving as the subject matter expert and senior day-to-day owner of client relationships. The Account Director, Commerce ensures campaigns, content and operations meet performance goals, blending platform expertise with team leadership and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead client relationships with clear, consistent communication
- Manage account performance, budgets and key goals
- Guide retail media and content strategy across Amazon and Walmart
- Work with internal teams to plan and deliver campaigns
- Coach account team members and support their growth
- Review data to spot trends and new opportunities
- Keep work consistent across listings and creative updates
- Join quarterly reviews and planning sessions with clients
- Stay informed on marketplace trends and share updates
- Help grow accounts and support new business efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
- 8–10 years in marketing, e-commerce or retail media
- Hands-on experience with retail media and marketplaces
- Proven record of leading and growing client relationships
- Critical thinking with strong analytical and leadership skills
- Skilled communication who builds trust with senior clients
- Deep knowledge of Amazon DSP, Sponsored Ads and Walmart Connect
- Confidence managing large teams and complex accounts
- Care with budgets and delivery timelines
- Composure who remains solution-oriented under pressure

Pay
Salary: $110,000–$125,000 (Pay range is based on a market reference point and potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, experience and geographic location of the individual candidate.)
Schedule
This role is based in one of our six US office locations: San Diego, California; Los Angeles, California; Covington, Kentucky; Denver, Colorado; Nashville, Tennessee; or Charleston, South Carolina. We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively in-office, though some roles may be eligible for remote work based on business needs and unique job functions.
