About the role
You will manage a global Facilities Management (FM) account team and supply chain partners, ensuring exemplary Property and Facilities Management services are provided to the Client. You will lead the strategic development of best-in-class FM services, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and inspire the team to deliver high-quality services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the Client, developing a strong professional relationship with key stakeholders.
- Lead the strategic development of best-in-class FM services to align with the Client's strategic objectives, Service Level Requirements, and minimum standards.
- Introduce industry best practices and innovations to continuously improve cost and performance.
- Act as an integrator, enhancing relationships with the Client and harnessing the combined inputs of Macro and FM supply partners.
- Deliver FM services that are best in class, providing a superior employee experience where visitors are welcomed and anticipated.
- Inspire the FM team to deliver a seamless, efficient, and responsive services.
- Coach, train, and develop the team to continually raise performance standards.
- Lead and motivate regional managers and key account roles to maintain the highest standard of services in accordance with the relevant contract.
- Foster a passion for customer service and develop talent through career management techniques.
- Understand and adapt to business needs by understanding the employee perspective, being proactive, and knowing the customer's business.
- Recognise the importance of value-based management.
- Be accountable for the risk, profitability, and delivery of budgets for the Client account.
- Ensure legal and statutory compliance and manage financial responsibilities for operations.
- Develop and coach the Macro Management team and other direct reports, actively managing their development and career aspirations.
- Handle all staffing issues, including recruitment, performance appraisals, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Implement and audit site standards and specifications in accordance with agreed KPIs, ISO standards, and other legislative requirements.
- Establish and implement new policies and procedures.
- Promote excellent communication and involvement among site teams, ensuring their commitment and loyalty to the company.
- Implement robust procedures to provide consistency across the Client account.
Requirements
- A degree-level qualification.
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH, OSHA).
- Experience in senior leadership and/or account executive roles.
