About the role
This position involves maintaining subsidiary ledgers and other complex clerical work in the maintenance of accounts and quantitative records. Duties may also include supervising and participating in moderately complex clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Posting to accounting records and systematizing fiscal information
- Computing, classifying, and recording numerical data to maintain complete sets of financial accounting records
- Deriving reports from derived data
- Knowledge of standard accounting classification and terminology pertinent to accounts maintenance operations
- Office practices and procedures relating to the processing and recording of transactions and accounting information
Requirements
- Six (6) months of work experience demonstrating knowledge of arithmetic and spelling, and the ability to follow oral and written directions, write simply and directly, and observe differences in words and numbers quickly and accurately.
- One (1) year of work experience involving posting to accounting records and other systematizing of fiscal information.
Qualifications
Legal Authorization To Work Requirement: Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
