Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member
About the role
I opened my first State Farm agency in 2013 and now operate two offices with a strong team of nine professionals. I started my career as a State Farm team member — it was the first job where I truly felt I was making a difference. Once I found success helping customers protect what matters most, I knew agency ownership was the right path for me. I’m a graduate of William Paterson University in New Jersey, and I bring that a driven, goal-oriented mindset into how I lead my team today. We work hard, stay motivated, and push each other to reach our highest potential. I offer two weeks of paid vacation, five sick days, a 401k plan, health benefits, and reimbursement for licensing costs. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where each team member has the tools and encouragement to succeed. Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
- Aid customers with policy changes and inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
- Cook up with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
