Accompanist

About the role

The Accompanist position at Longs Peak Middle School supports the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Choir as well as Advanced Choir. The schedule is from 7:50 AM to 1:50 PM on B Days only.

Responsibilities

• Supports choir performances and rehearsals
• Ensures musical accompaniment for choir members

Requirements

• Music Theory and/or Piano proficiency
• Ability to read music
• Experience with vocal music accompaniment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in music education or related field

Skills

• Excellent keyboard skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
