Accessory Installer

About the Role

We are seeking an individual with service and sales experience to join our Service Team as an Accessories Upfitter. The successful candidate should feel comfortable and confident in approaching customers and upselling parts and accessories to help make their B Vans more customized, functional, and cool.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously with a positive attitude
• Listen to each customer and provide ideas to showcase accessory possibilities
• Use leads to reach out to previous customers to inform them of accessory packages
• Provide accurate estimates of accessory costs and timing if parts need to be ordered
• Follow up on installation status to keep customers informed
• Notify customers when their unit is complete and ready for pickup
• Field minor customer concerns and complaints
• Keep the Service Manager informed of all or potential problems
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Basic RV knowledge (a plus)
• Previous experience in a service position in RV or automotive (a plus)
• Excellent follow-through skills and a keen eye for details
• Strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations
• Desire to work in a collaborative, team environment
• High levels of energy and the desire to excel
• Superior communication and organizational skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
• Computer literate, with skills in Microsoft applications

Working Conditions

• Prolonged periods of physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, and bending
• May ascend/descend units and work atop slippery surfaces
• May transport or move up to 25 lbs. and/or up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
