Accessory Development Engineer

Role Overview

This position involves managing the development of accessory components from planning to first article inspection, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met. The role requires coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, optimize costs, and ensure seamless integration of accessories into vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supporting product planning and generating ideas for new accessories
• Managing schedules and communicating project progress
• Collaborating with suppliers for design, quality, and testing standards
• Ensuring timely completion of installation instructions
• Emphasizing process improvement, technological advancement, and partnership with technical leadership

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in automotive or powersports industries
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and technical data
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in project planning and scheduling
• Familiarity with product development schedules and Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, make decisions, and develop innovative solutions
