About the role

The primary mission of the Accessories Technician is to install all Tint, Paint Protection Film, Leather, and Protection package products onto new and used vehicles. A successful candidate will have knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Install Xpel Paint Protection Film, Leather, and Protection package products
  • Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices
  • Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces
  • Treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
  • Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following recommendations of the product's manufacturer

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Good judgment
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and other machinery safely

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year experience with paint protection film or tint installation

Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding position. The Accessories Technician will:

  • Stand six to eight hours per shift
  • Lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and feel
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials
