Accessories Technician

About the role
The primary mission of the Accessories Technician is to install all Tint, Paint Protection Film, Leather, and Protection package products onto new and used vehicles. A successful candidate will have knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance and great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Install Xpel Paint Protection Film, Leather, and Protection package products
- Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces
- Treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
- Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following recommendations of the product's manufacturer
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
- Good judgment
- Ability to use hand and power tools and other machinery safely
Preferred Qualifications
- One year experience with paint protection film or tint installation
Working Conditions
This is a physically demanding position. The Accessories Technician will:
- Stand six to eight hours per shift
- Lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and feel
- Use hand and power tools
- Be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials
