Access & Reimbursement Manager (Southern California)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Access & Reimbursement Manager (Southern California) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will serve as a critical resource for patient access and reimbursement support across a specialized therapy area. You will partner closely with healthcare providers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to help patients move successfully through the access process and to address complex reimbursement barriers. The position requires strong knowledge of payer dynamics, case management, and policy changes that affect coverage and access. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patient access and reimbursement support
• Educate healthcare providers on the onboarding process and reimbursement requirements
• Proactively identify and resolve complex patient access issues
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support patient progress through the reimbursement process
• Monitor cases and provide updates to sales and support teams
• Deliver expertise on the access landscape and anticipate changes in healthcare policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; relevant experience may be considered
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience with Hubs, payers, or HCPs
• 3+ years of experience in reimbursement, access, or case management
• Preferred experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, nephrology, or rare diseases
• Understanding of private/commercial insurance reimbursement and government payer systems

Pay

Compensation: $162,000 – $211,000 annually
