Access Monitor/Escort I - WSMR TEAS ***Part Time***

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitoring activities
• Protect controlled area(s)
• Record names of individuals requesting access
• Log vehicles entering and leaving site
• Grant or deny access at various facilities and locations
• Escorting visitors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Pay Rate: $17.75/hour
• Exercise discretion and good judgement
• Follow detailed directions
• Safeguard property
• Reliability (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Travel is primarily local during the business day; may require some off-site travel
• Comfortable with and able to communicate effectively
• Ability to complete and deliver required work, with minimal supervision
• Focused/observant of your surroundings

Additional Desired Qualifications

• Active/current DOD Clearance

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• This job mostly operates in an outdoor field environment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; hand/finger dexterity to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; communicate with internal/external clients; and taste or smell
• The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time

Terms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check
• Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment
