About the role

Are you outgoing, dependable, and passionate about helping others? Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is looking for a warm and welcoming Access Engagement Specialist to guide new clients through their first steps of care. BCI provides outpatient services for adults, children, and families in Mental Health (MH) and Substance Abuse (SA) programs, and the Access Engagement Specialist plays a key role in making every client feel comfortable, valued, and well cared for as they begin treatment with BCI.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation to new clients
• Maintain the BCI and Behavix waitlist for services
• Coordinate initial face‑to‑face sessions with a licensed outpatient therapist
• Coordinate community wellness checks with the Case Management department for hospital discharge clients who no‑show for their discharge group
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and patience when working through difficult situations
• Ensure all client information collected is accurate
• Maintain strict client confidentiality
