Access Control Security Officer

Wage: $17.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Check in all contractors, visitors, and trucks
• Patrol outside of the facility
• Monitor alarms and surveillance cameras
• Respond to emergency calls (non-medical), parking lot disturbances, vehicle accidents, etc.
• Observe for safety hazards or suspicious activity
• Answer phone calls and transfer calls to supervisors inside the plant
• Actively monitor the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers

Requirements

• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time, including climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Valid Driver’s License (Drive for Life, MVR)

Qualifications

• No experience necessary
• Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a plus
• Training provided for those new to the security industry
