Access Control - Security Guard

About the role

A Tactical Security Ambassador must read the environment, anticipate risk, and act decisively. Physical ability is essential, as you will patrol environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers throughout your shift.

Schedule

• 1st schedule: Full-time, Friday through Monday, 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• 2nd schedule: Full-time, Sunday through Monday, 3rd shift, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and Tuesday through Thursday, 2nd shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• 3rd schedule: Full-time, Wednesday through Sunday, 2nd shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.51 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• State license if required

Qualifications

• First aid certification is an asset
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred
