Duties And Responsibilities

• Conforms with the AAR MTA guidelines in formulating MTA AAR recommendations
• Reviews medical information and conducts screenings prior to evaluations to determine patient need for transport services and ability to benefit from the MTA AAR program
• Coordinates / communicates with the AAR Supervisor in resolving concerns related to applicant's documentation and records that may influence the recommendation
• Maintains accurate billing information in accordance with facility procedures on daily basis
• Adheres to documentation requirements of Rehabilitation department and the facility
• Completes documentation within the acceptable time frame
• Conducts staff training/education as appropriate via formal and informal in-services and consultations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Associate Degree in License Practical Nursing with a current state license and registration
• Must have excellent oral, written communication skills and demonstrate competency in aspects of assessments and evaluation principles
