About the role

We are looking for Radiology Technologists (rad techs) to take the next step in their career through HCA Healthcare’s Accelerated Rad Tech to CT Tech Program. This new program is a 10-week intensive online certification program offered through Houston Community College – Coleman College for Health Sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Work, and are paid for, 38.5 hours per week while receiving the necessary Computed Technologist (CT Tech) clinical hours.
  • Opportunities for growth within the imaging space, including accelerated development programs for career advancement into both CT and MRI roles.
  • The program is fully funded by HCA Healthcare, and selected colleagues complete and are paid for clinical hours during regular shifts.

Qualifications

  • A Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
  • One year of experience in a Rad Tech role is preferred.
  • Exceptions for new grads can be made for those who excelled academically and showcased excellent technical skills during clinicals.

The program, including tuition, fees and books, is fully covered by HCA Healthcare. The training includes hands-on, preceptor-led training in addition to one virtual evening class per week. After completing the program, graduates will receive an Enhanced Skills Certificate.
