About the role

Texas Children’s Urgent Care West Gate, opened in March 2018, provides high quality pediatric-focused care after hours and on weekends. There are now more than 15 Texas Children’s Pediatric primary care practices in the greater Austin area providing full-service family care including routine childhood immunizations, well visits, and sick care. Our Specialty Care Center in Austin includes a multidisciplinary group of pediatric specialists committed to providing comprehensive care across a wide spectrum of services. Texas Children’s Hospital North Austin, our new state-of-the-art facility, provides world-class pediatric and maternal care to Austin families.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound, CT, MRI, and/or X-ray equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Accurately document patient information and procedures in medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current license/certification in the relevant field (Ultrasound, RVT, CT, MRI).
• Experience in pediatric settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of relevant training programs.
• Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
• Proficiency in computer systems used for patient management.
