Academy Tutor - Ruby Drive Elementary #202

Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants. Interviews will begin with permanent applicants qualified for an interview. Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan.

About the role

The Academy Tutor position at Ruby Drive Elementary supports students in an after-school program. This role follows the same guidelines as an instructional aide.

Schedule

• 9.5-month work year, 5 days per week
• 3.95 hours per day, Monday–Friday, 2:03 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• 204 paid days per work calendar (1001 hours)

Pay

Hourly pay range: $19.95 – $24.30 (Range 16).

Requirements

• Completion of high school education
• Minimum of 48 units of higher education or passing the District’s Proficiency Test (ESSA Instructional Aide Testing) with a score of 70% or higher
• Current resume demonstrating the ability to read and write at a level necessary for job performance
