About the Role

Academy Tutor position at Rio Vista Elementary, working 19.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 2:03 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on a 9.5-month schedule (204 paid days / 1001 work calendar). Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants. Interviews will begin with permanent applicants qualified for an interview. Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan.

Requirements

• Completion of high school education (copy of transcript required)
• Minimum of 48 units of higher education OR pass the District's ESSA Instructional Aide Proficiency Test with a score of 70% or higher (contact Human Resources at 714-985-8410 for testing information)
• Current resume showing formal or informal training demonstrating ability to read and write at a level necessary for job performance

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Range: $19.95 - $24.30 per hour (Range 16)
• Length of Work Year: 9.5 months, 5 days per week, 19.75 hours per week
• Shift Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:03 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
