About the role
We are seeking a full-time Academic Specialist in General Obstetrics and Gynecology to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a community-based academic environment. This role offers the opportunity to work at a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital serving nearly one million people.
Responsibilities
- Delivering full-spectrum clinical services
- Engaging in medical education for residents and students
- Collaborating with a team of 19 OB/GYN physicians and 9 Advanced Clinical Practitioners
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board‑certified or active candidate status with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligibility for Virginia medical licensure
Qualifications
- Faculty appointment available, commensurate with experience
- Excellent clinical skills
- Enthusiasm for medical education

Competitive salary range: $385,000‑$517,000
