Academic Scholar- Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor, Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine
About the role
The Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine, Jacobs School of Medicine (JSMBS) and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), seeks a Geriatric BE/BC physician for a full-time position based at our suburban practice. The qualified candidate will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor level. The candidate will be responsible for the development and oversight of an ambulatory practice that provides comprehensive evaluation and care to a geriatric population. The candidate will provide direct care as well as supervise other members of the care team. This is a unique opportunity to build a state-of-the-art experience for the elderly in a community based multispecialty setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee an ambulatory practice providing comprehensive evaluation and care to a geriatric population.
- Provide direct care as well as supervise other members of the care team.
- Oversee the educational experience of fellows, residents and medical students assigned to the site.
Requirements
- MD/DOBE/BC in Geriatric Medicine
Preferred Qualifications
- BE/BC in Palliative Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York
- Current and unrestricted DEA Certificate
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
