About the role
The Department of Primary Care & Rural Medicine, Texas A&M College of Medicine invites applications for a full-time Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) position starting in the summer of 2025. Applicants may be considered for the titles of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor based on qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Obstetric care
- Inpatient hospital medicine
- Inpatient/outpatient pediatrics
- Direct patient care
- Teaching clinical practice of family medicine to medical students, residents, and fellows
- Night and weekend call
- Rotation with other faculty in the coverage of inpatient hospital services
Requirements
- MD, DO, or equivalent professional degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine by the ABFM or AOBFP
- Current Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of Texas
Preferred
- Obstetric care
- Inpatient hospital medicine
- Inpatient/outpatient pediatrics
- Other advanced procedural skills
