Academic Position for Gastroenterologists

About the role

We are seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join a leading academic medical center's Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical care across a diverse patient population
• Participating in educational missions and research activities
• Expanding outpatient clinics and endoscopy procedures
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including colorectal surgery, GI pathology, radiology, and pediatric GI
• Teaching residents and fellows within established GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programs
• Engaging in clinical research, with protected faculty time provided
• Offering outpatient and hospital-based services with support from dedicated clinical staff
• Sharing call coverage and providing comprehensive patient care

Qualifications and Skills

• MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Strong clinical, teaching, and research interests
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Pay

Above-average academic salary ($575k+ base)
