Academic Physician - MD/DO - Geriatrician

About the Role

We are seeking a Full-time Academic Geriatric Physician to provide clinical care, teaching, and oversight in ambulatory clinics, long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient services at a Level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive geriatric and palliative care across multiple clinical sites.
• Supervise and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Support and contribute to geriatric medicine fellowship programs.
• Participate in academic activities, including education and research initiatives.
• Engage in national professional meetings and organizations (e.g., AMDA, AGS, AAHPM).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance geriatric care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Expertise in geriatric medicine.
• Experience in ambulatory and inpatient care settings.
• Proven ability to teach and mentor learners at all levels.
• Active participation in professional organizations such as AMDA, AGS, or AAHPM.
