About the role
The Department of Neurology at the UMass Chan Medical School (UMMS) is recruiting an Academic Movement Disorders & General Neurology clinician. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a patient-centered comprehensive Movement Disorders program with an established and collegial movement disorders group.
Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly interdisciplinary meetings with neurosurgery and neuropsychology for DBS planning
- Engage in DBS programming and botulinum toxin injection clinics
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Hold a faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School with opportunities for professional development and promotion
- Join the medical staff at UMass Memorial Medical Center, a large, integrated health system
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O degree
- Fellowship in Movement Disorders

Hiring Range: $180,000 - $320,000
