About the Role

Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and safety requirements. Assists students and faculty with the proper use of equipment, demonstrates procedures, and monitors users in the safe and proper operation of equipment. This position is for a chemistry lab technician, with occasional duties in other disciplines.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field with at least twelve (12) hours in the major field of study or a combination of education, training, and experience that equates to the required degree.
• One year of related experience.
• Licenses or certifications may be required depending on area of assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of related experience.
