The Faculty of Dentistry at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time faculty member at the rank of Professor, Assistant Professor, or Lecturer.
About the Role
This position will begin on February 15th, 2025. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Faculty of Dentistry offers an undergraduate degree in Dentistry. Responsibilities
- Teaching (2-3 courses/semester)
- Student advising
- Research and creative activities
- Service and cooperative extension
- Administrative responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities include:
- Time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or telecommunications courses
- Maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught
- Preparing teaching materials
- Conferring with students on course materials
- Reviewing written examinations and papers
- Evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects
Requirements
- Holds a Ph.D. in Dentistry, in the specific field and branch
- Has international publications and good experience in scientific research
- Has good experience in teaching
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent use of computers in teaching
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university by the Higher Education Council
- May hold or be registered with a postgraduate degree in Dentistry in the specific field and branch
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent use of computers in teaching
