About the role

Assists administrators, teachers, counselors, and other professionals with implementation of strategically aligned programs and interventions designed to increase student engagement and positive participation in an academic program. Trains and serves as a mentor to Behavior Intervention Specialists.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in a behavioral or social science, education, or equivalent and four years of progressively responsible experience with a community based social services and behaviorally at-risk students with attendance problems. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and will substitute for some experience.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license; may require a valid first aid card.

Skills

Bilingual in Spanish and English; demonstrated proficiency in translation and interpretation.
