Academic IBD Physician
About the role
The University of Utah, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition seeks an Academic Clinician focused on Inflammatory Bowel Disease to join their established and growing IBD section. This role includes outpatient IBD clinic and general endoscopy, with opportunities for clinical, translational, or basic science research.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Gastroenterology fellows and medical house staff
- Participate in weekly educational conferences
- Engage in clinical, translational, or basic science research
- Contribute to the growth and strengthening of the IBD program towards becoming a Center of Excellence
Requirements
- Medical Degree
- Board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology

- Commitment and passion for patient care, research, and education
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong clinical and research abilities

Pay
The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
