Academic General Internal Medicine Physician - Boston, MA

Responsibilities

The Academic General Internist will serve as primary caregiver for a panel of adult primary care patients. There are significant opportunities to teach medical and other health professional students, to precept internal medicine residents, and to serve as attending physician on the inpatient general medicine or geriatrics services. We offer opportunities for professional development of clinician-educators and for mentorship and support of aspiring clinician-investigators. This role is suitable for mid-career clinicians interested in working in an academic environment, or for early-career physicians looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity.

Requirements

• Board Eligibility / Certification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Additional training or expertise in geriatrics, LGBTQ+ health or addiction medicine is a plus but not essential.
• Current medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is preferred.
• Bilingual (Chinese) or multilingual ability is a plus.

Pay

Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Tufts University School of Medicine appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.
