About the role
UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking an Academic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join their growing team. Responsibilities
- Performing over 1,100 cases annually across UMass facilities and a dedicated ambulatory surgery center
- Teaching and training orthopedic residents and medical students at UMass Chan Medical School
- Engaging in clinical and basic science research
- Contributing to the high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous improvement of the department
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery required
- Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, including teaching and/or research
- MD or DO degree with eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure
- Ambitious and committed to collaborative practice and long-term program growth
