Academic Foot and Ankle Surgeon- Worcester, MA

About the role

UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking an Academic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join their growing team. The position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a hiring range of $400,000 - $450,000, with the final offer based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

• Performing over 1,100 cases annually across UMass facilities and a dedicated ambulatory surgery center
• Teaching and training orthopedic residents and medical students at UMass Chan Medical School
• Engaging in clinical and basic science research
• Contributing to the high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous improvement of the department

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery required
• Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, including teaching and/or research
• MD or DO degree with eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure
• Ambitious and committed to collaborative practice and long-term program growth
