About the role

The MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for a 12-month, full-time Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, at the rank of Assistant Professor to join our Department of Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching in our top-ranked US News World Report Entry – Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program
  • Scholarship
  • Supervising student research
  • Advising graduate students
  • Working closely with administrative fieldwork staff and faculty
  • Providing service to the department, Institute, and community
  • Offering supervision of OT services in our student-led pro bono center to support clinical education placements

Qualifications

  • The IHP is committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation that reflects each faculty member’s experience, expertise, responsibilities, and performance.
  • The expected base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $145,000, based on faculty rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor), qualifications, and discipline.
  • Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors such as academic and clinical experience, teaching responsibilities, education, licensure, specialty, training, market, and internal equity.
  • Candidates must possess an earned post professional doctorate and have clinical expertise as a generalist in occupational therapy practice and education of at least five years.
  • A current occupational therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts is required.
  • The rank and salary commensurate with experience.
