Academic Electrophysiology Opportunity in Greenville, NC
ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a board certified or board eligible fellowship trained Electrophysiologist.
About the role
The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized cardiovascular program. Clinical sections represented in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences include Structural Heart Disease, Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, Primary and Secondary Prevention, and Vascular Diseases.
The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center is eastern North Carolina’s premier facility for cardiovascular services. The six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses 4 electrophysiology labs, 6 catheterization labs, state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic equipment, 6 cardiovascular operating rooms, and 1 hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient and outpatient services including EP device therapy, SVT and A-fib ablation, complex ablation, and mapping
- Teach and conduct clinical research to patients and students at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, The East Carolina Heart Institute, and at ECU Health Medical Center
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease with fellowship training in Cardiac Electrophysiology
- MD or DO
- J-1 or H-1B visas accepted
