About the role
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include supervising behavioral health trainees (including psychiatry residents, psychology externs and interns) and social work trainees;
- Giving lectures to trainees in psychology, psychiatry, and pediatrics;
- Develop curricula.
- Clinical responsibilities may include assessment and treatment behavioral health services to children and families seen in CHOP primary care sites.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D or equivalent degree.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing behavioral health services to children and families.
- Ability to collaborate with pediatric primary care providers.
Skills
- Excellent teaching and mentoring skills.
- Strong clinical skills in behavioral health.
