About the Position

About the role

You will be meeting with new and existing patients, reviewing their assessment results, and talking to them to learn about their current concerns and issues. You will also perform a comprehensive eye exam to detect any abnormalities, prescribe and fit the appropriate lenses, and diagnose eye conditions.

Responsibilities

• See approximately 16 patients per day with dedicated 30-minute exam slots.
• Utilize modern technology and equipment to diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of conditions.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA-accredited program.
• Current Arizona State License to Practice Optometry.
• Experience in primary care optometry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO).
• Passing score on the State Board of Optometry Examination.
• Passing score on the Arizona State Optometry Licensing Exam.
