About the role

An established private optometry practice in the Charleston area is seeking a full-time optometrist to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OD who values quality patient care and wants to work in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full eye exams and vision assessments
• Counsel patients on eye health and preventive care
• Use modern diagnostic and treatment technology
• Write prescriptions for glasses, contacts, and other vision aids
• Handle contact lens fittings
• Diagnose and manage a range of ocular conditions and diseases
• Partner with surgical providers on co-management cases
• Keep clean, accurate patient charts

Requirements

• Doctorate in Optometry (required)
• Currently licensed to practice in South Carolina (active or eligible)
• Warm bedside manner and genuine enthusiasm for patient care
• Strong communicator with both patients and colleagues
• Hard-working and patient-first in approach
• Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment

Pay

Competitive base salary starting at $120,000 with additional performance-based bonus opportunity and uncapped earning potential.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, standard 8-hour days.
