Responsibilities
- Interpretation of Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy of the body.
- Prior experience in image-guided biopsy is highly desirable but not required.
- Participation in the Abdominal Imaging off-hour on-call program, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Opportunity to develop research credentials.
- Research and educational support provided to prepare for an academic and/or clinical career.
- Specialized research focus may be developed in consultation with the Division Chief.
Requirements
- American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with sub-specialty training in an ACGME-approved abdominal imaging fellowship program.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
Benefits
The position offers clinical services for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH), and the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center (PAVMC), as well as affiliated outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Pay
The pay scale is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule is flexible and includes off-hours coverage for the Abdominal Imaging service.
