AbbeHealth RN or LPN (1 night a week)

Responsibilities

• Aware of department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Bridges any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of department or administrative staff.
• Conducts all aspects of the job in an ethical manner in support of the organization’s commitment to ethical behavior in all areas of personal and professional activity.
• Demonstrates a positive cooperative attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to change to meet department goals.
• Provides whole person, integrated care with primary focus on the treatment of mental health conditions within an outpatient clinic.
• Works collaboratively with psychiatric providers, reception and scheduling staff, care coordinators, and other team members to ensure client needs are met.
• Performs rooming patients, completing health questionnaires (vital signs, medications, mental health symptoms, concurrent physical health or substance use disorders, etc.).
• Processes refill requests, communicates assessment results, lab reports, pharmacy inquiries, and client concerns with psychiatric providers.
• Performs additional duties as may be assigned to ensure complete service to all customers.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN or LPN required.
• Experience with persons in recovery from mental illness and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• Must demonstrate creative and solid decision-making skills, compassion, and contribute to a positive office culture.
• Iowa Driver’s License required.
