AbbeHealth Community Based Services Lead

Responsibilities

• Aware of department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse.
• Bridges any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of department or administrative staff.
• Purposefully conducts all aspects of the job in an ethical manner in support of the organization’s commitment to ethical behavior in all areas of personal and professional activity.
• Recognizes and teaches team members the early symptoms of physical and mental illness.
• Performs or coaches staff to perform appropriate interventions and/or referrals in accordance with an identified crisis plan.
• Provides leadership and clinical consultation to team members working directly with consumers.
• Demonstrates a positive cooperative attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to change to meet department goals.
• Performs additional duties as may be assigned to ensure complete service to all customers.

Qualifications

• For individuals with an Associate’s degree in a human service-related field, at least 1 year of experience working in a human-service related field.
• For individuals without a degree, at least 2 years of experience working in a human-service related field, must have high school diploma.
• Experience working in Medicaid waiver programs.
