ABA Therapist - Training Provided - $21-$26/hr

About the role

The Behavior Technician provides one-on-one support to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental or behavioral challenges, in home or community settings. Working alongside Board Certified Behavior Analysts, you assist clients in building social, communication, and independence skills, following personalized behavior-change plans. Responsibilities include documenting progress, supporting families, and creating structured, encouraging interactions during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs
• Support skill development in communication and social interactions
• Address repetitive or restrictive behaviors in clients
• Accurately document session information and progress
• Maintain positive, structured, and encouraging session environments

Qualifications

• Passion for working with individuals with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age of 18
• Either completed college coursework in relevant fields or at least one year of experience working with children in supportive roles such as behavioral intervention, ABA therapy, or similar
