ABA Technician - BRAINS Clinic, Part-Time (Up to 20 Hours Weekly)
About the role
Pine Rest is a non-profit behavioral health system committed to providing expert care for mental health and substance use disorders. Services include psychiatric urgent care, a pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization, assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment, and specialized services like crisis response and forensic psychiatry.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home support to children with autism spectrum disorders using ABA therapy (training provided)
- Build meaningful connections and celebrate small wins every day
- Work flexible hours ranging from 5 to 40 hours per week
- Work as little as 3 evenings per week (4-7pm)
- Assess patient care needs, implement treatment plans, and modify behavior according to patient needs
- Function as a member of the treatment team and understand principles of behaviorally based programming
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, parents, and other family members
- Apply ABA processes for behavior modification
Requirements
- Registered Behavioral Technician Certification preferred
- Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) certification preferred
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder through training or experience
- Understanding of therapy principles in the field of expertise
- On-the-job training or formal education in ABA program principles
- Graduate education in Psychology, Social Work, or related fields (not required)

Pay
The equivalent base pay range for this role is $18.04 - $27.07. Your interview and offer letter will specify whether the role is hourly or salaried. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.

This role offers flexible scheduling options, with the option to work as little as 5 hours per week or up to 40 hours per week, matching your schedule.
