About the role
We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism and related disorders. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Utilize early intervention strategies and learning technologies to promote literacy and social skills.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in special education (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teacher’s certification for students with disabilities (birth–grade 2).
- State certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with children with special needs, specifically those with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
