ABA REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIANS - METAIRIE

About the role

Metairie-based ABA Registered Behavior Technicians are needed to provide behavioral support services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on individual needs
• Monitor and record progress towards goals
• Provide positive reinforcement and other strategies to promote desired behaviors
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in support
• Document all sessions and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for supporting individuals with autism
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding special education services
