About the role
ABA Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) needed to provide behavioral support services in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior plans as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor students' behaviors and record data accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement behavior intervention strategies
- Provide positive reinforcement and corrective feedback as necessary
- Document all interactions and observations in student files
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Current ABA certification or willingness to obtain within one year
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Passing score on a background check
Skills
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles
- Proficiency in using data collection software
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
