ABA Child Interventionist / Behavior Technician / RBT - Part Time

About the role
We are seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, both entry-level and experienced, to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. Join us in collaborating with families to execute ABA-based behavior intervention plans.
This is a part-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 7:00pm (12 - 20 hours per week).

Requirements
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (required for communication with Spanish-speaking clients and families)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (if already obtained)
- Genuine passion for working with children
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- Prior experience with children (advantageous)
- Interest in ongoing professional development
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance
- Tablet or laptop computer for use during sessions (smartphone not sufficient)
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)
- Observe, record, and report on client’s progress, condition, and behavior daily
- Manage challenging behaviors
- Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients
- Assist clients in acquiring academic and/or appropriate life skills
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, behavior analysts, trainers, and clients
- Function as an active member of the treatment team
- Complete daily paperwork and data collection notes accurately and timely through our online database
- Actively participate in continuous training programs to increase overall skills
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Follow Butterfly Effects policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
