About the role

We are seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. Join us in collaborating with families to execute ABA-based behavior intervention plans.

Schedule

Part-time, Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–7:00 pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification (if already obtained).
  • Genuine passion for working with children.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude for working with children and families.
  • Prior experience with children is advantageous.
  • Interest in ongoing professional development.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
  • Observe, record, and report on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
  • Manage challenging behaviors.
  • Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
  • Assist clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
  • Communicate in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
  • Function as an active member of the treatment team.
  • Complete daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
  • Actively participate in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Follow Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
