About the role
TLC is hiring Full Time and Part Time Behavior Technicians in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. We offer highly competitive compensation, a sign-on bonus for RBTs, and comprehensive benefits including health care, retirement, and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist Behavior Analysts in implementing treatment plans
- Use evidence-based strategies to target language, play, social, and adaptive skill deficits
- Address behavioral concerns impacting learning
- Work closely with a Behavior Analyst to carry out treatment plans for individual clients
- Collect data on targeted skills
- Attend clinical team meetings
Requirements
- Prior experience is a plus but not required
- On-site and remote paid training and clinical hours towards RBT certification
- Bachelor's Degree or enrollment in Psychology, Education, or a related program preferred
- At least 6 months of previous experience working with children
- ABA experience and RBT certification preferred
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
- Positive attitude and fun through play
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children
- Must have reliable transportation
- Willing to commute to clients' homes, schools, or community settings
- Current TB screening
- Background check clearance upon hire
- Evidence of immunizations

- Passionate about working with children on the Autism Spectrum
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in pursuing a career in Behavior Analysis
