About the role

TLC is hiring Full Time and Part Time Behavior Technicians to serve children on the Autism Spectrum. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Behavior Analysts with implementing treatment plans
  • Use evidence-based strategies targeting language, play, social, and adaptive skill deficits
  • Address behavioral concerns impacting learning
  • Work closely with a Behavior Analyst to carry out treatment plans for individual clients
  • Collect data on targeted skills
  • Attend clinical team meetings

Requirements

  • Prior experience is a plus but not required
  • On-site and remote paid training and clinical hours towards your Behavior Technician certification
  • Bachelor's Degree or enrollment in Psychology, Education, or a related program preferred
  • At least 6 months of previous experience working with children
  • ABA experience and Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
  • Positive attitude and fun through play
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Willing to commute to clients' homes, schools, or community settings to implement treatment objectives
  • Current TB screening
  • Background check clearance upon hire
  • Evidence of immunizations

  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in the field of Behavior Analysis

Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Knowledge of ABA techniques
