About the role
TLC is hiring Full Time and Part Time Behavior Technicians to serve children on the Autism Spectrum. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assist Behavior Analysts with implementing treatment plans
- Use evidence-based strategies targeting language, play, social, and adaptive skill deficits
- Address behavioral concerns impacting learning
- Work closely with a Behavior Analyst to carry out treatment plans for individual clients
- Collect data on targeted skills
- Attend clinical team meetings
Requirements
- Prior experience is a plus but not required
- On-site and remote paid training and clinical hours towards your Behavior Technician certification
- Bachelor's Degree or enrollment in Psychology, Education, or a related program preferred
- At least 6 months of previous experience working with children
- ABA experience and Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
- Positive attitude and fun through play
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children
- Must have reliable transportation
- Willing to commute to clients' homes, schools, or community settings to implement treatment objectives
- Current TB screening
- Background check clearance upon hire
- Evidence of immunizations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in the field of Behavior Analysis
