About the role

Achieving True Self (ATS) offers a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and families. This role includes providing one-on-one support to children with developmental and behavioral challenges, using ABA techniques to create positive change.

Responsibilities

  • Help children thrive by creating an environment where learning is fun, exciting, and personalized to each child’s unique needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans to support children and their families.
  • Collect data and document progress using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with families to support them in implementing behavior strategies to foster success at home and in the community.

Requirements

  • A deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.
  • Professional experience with children or individuals with disabilities (e.g., Nanny, Teacher, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, etc.) OR relevant educational background in psychology, sociology, education, or related fields.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (ride-sharing or public transportation are not permitted for this position).
  • Ability to work evenings and after-school hours (client sessions are typically 2-6 hours long, Monday through Friday).
  • Willingness to start part-time while your caseload grows.

  • Able to support individual growth: Implement behavior intervention plans focused on the strengths and needs of each child.
  • Able to collect data: Record detailed progress notes and data points in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Able to collaborate with families: Empower families to support their children’s development at home.
  • Able to embody ATS values: Demonstrate a commitment to our mission, vision, and values in all interactions.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in technology for documentation and administrative tasks.

Pay
