ABA behavior technician or RBT after school hours

About the Role

RightWay ABA is a woman-owned, BCBA-led business offering in-home and center-based ABA therapy for children ages 2-18. We provide training and support for Behavior Technicians (BTs) to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support:
  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA.
  • Teach communication, social, daily living, and play skills.
  • Use reinforcement strategies to increase desired behaviors.
  • Implement behavior-reduction plans to address challenging behaviors.
  • Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress.
• Session Preparation & Documentation:
  • Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
  • Maintain detailed session notes and documentation according to company and insurance standards.
  • Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data-collection software.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress and challenges.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
  • Provide feedback to caregivers when appropriate and under BCBA guidance.
• Professional Conduct:
  • Follow ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Uphold client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
