About the Role
Step into your BCBA career with the ABA Apprentice program at Behavioral Innovations, designed as a bridge between grad school and independent practice. This program provides tailored support, hands-on learning, and structured mentorship to help you prepare for the BCBA exam and your first role as a BCBA.
Your success is personal to us. Every apprentice receives a customized BCBA exam study plan, works directly with experienced BCBAs, and gains confidence through real clinical experience before taking on a full caseload. With a dedicated Learning & Development team, you’ll have clear paths forward into a BCBA role and beyond.
Pay
Compensation varies by location:
- Texas & Oklahoma: $25/hour
- Virginia, Maryland, & Colorado: $28.50/hour
- North Carolina: $27/hour

Requirements
- Within 6 months of completing a BACB verified Masters/Post Graduate coursework sequence
- Active RBT certification
- At least 60% of BACB supervision requirements completed
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist with indirect supervision tasks for your own mini-caseload of learners
- Conduct therapy with clients on assigned BCBAs’ respective caseloads
- Support Board Certified Behavior Analysts and provide staff and caregiver training
- Assist BCBAs with parent communication and analyze client data
- Research literature related to client programs
- Oversee implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others
- Complete monthly mock exams
- Follow a tailored BCBA Readiness Plan
